Do you love the summer time because of the warm weather? My favorite part of the summer is going to the beach! Living in Massachusetts, there are a lot of options for beautiful beaches to choose from. However, the best beach, and the only beach I go to, is Crane Beach in Ipswich, Massachusetts.

Located about an hour north of Boston, Crane Beach is a paradise for beach goers! One of the reasons why Crane Beach is the best is that it's HUGE! The beach goes for miles and miles so there is plenty of room to sit and relax, even if there are hundreds of people there. I usually get there early in the morning so I get the best spot. Also, make sure to get there early because sometimes they close the beach if the parking lot gets too full!

Another reason why Crane Beach is the best is that it has an awesome snack bar! You can buy lots of things, like chips, lemonade, hot dogs, hamburgers and sandwiches. My favorite thing to get is a hot dog because they grill them RIGHT THERE so you know it's fresh. They also have ketchup and mustard and all the other condiments you could want. They also have frozen lemonade, which is the perfect treat to eat on a hot day at on the beach!

A third reason why Crane Beach is the best is that it is the cleanest beach I have ever been to! The sand and water is always clean because they have people help pick it up every day. That means you don't have to worry about getting sick or hurt from trash or pollution. The cleanliness also helps encourage other people to pick up after themselves! They don't want to be that person who left their trash on the beach.

The last reason why Crane Beach is the best is just 20 minutes away from it - Essex Seafood! Essex Seafood has the best fried seafood around - fried clams, fried scallops, fried shrimp, and even fried lobster! You can have fries and onion rings with your lunch too. If you don't want to drive to Essex, there are a few other options along the way, but Essex usually has the shortest line. Fried seafood and lemonade is the BEST way to end a day at the beach.

As you can see, there are many reasons to go to Crane Beach in Ipswich. So the next time you're going on a beach trip, drive out to Crane Beach! You won't regret it!
